J Dilla is not the same as John Dillinger.

J Dilla (1974 - 2006) (born James Dewitt Yancey) was an American record producer. He worked with such acts as Common, Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul. As Yancey’s condition worsened he had to borrow money from the government to foot medical bills, as a result his estate doesn’t receive any money from his posthumous album releases.

John Dillinger (1903 - 1934) was an American bank robber. He robbed at least two dozen banks and four police stations in the 30s. He escaped gaol twice. Despite being a murdered, robber and criminal he has received a favourable reputation not unlike fellow criminals both (actual and fictional) Ned Kelly and Robin Hood. He was performed by Johnny Depp in the 2009 film Public Enemies.

Both died in their early 30s.

Never Mind the Buzzcocks is not the same as Spicks and Specks.

Never Mind the Buzzcocks is a British quiz show with a popular music theme. The show consists of two teams with the same captains week to week. Each team has two celebrity guests, usually one from the music industry and one from the comedy industry but not limited to these criteria. Never Mind the Buzzcocks is known for its irreverent, sarcastic humour, often taking pot shots at popular artists even if they’re on the show. Singer Samuel Preston left the show half way through the episode when host, Simon Amstell, started reading from his then wife’s autobiography. The show is into its 23rd season. While the show is now hosted by different guest hosts each week the writers still do their job delivering top comedy for every episode.

Spicks and Specks is an Australian quiz show with a popular music theme. The show consists of two teams with the same captains week to week. Each team has two celebrity guests, usually one from the music industry and one from the comedy industry but not limited to these criteria. Spicks and Specks is similar to Never Mind the Buzzcocks in this aspect but it lacks the British versions irreverent, sarcastic humour. The team behind Spicks and Specks introduced their own version of the Never Mind the Buzzcocks “Intros” round called “Substitute” where one member of the team must substitute lyrics to a well known song from an unrelated book. While Spicks and Specks still enjoys high ratings many have found the show has staled over the years as the comedy of the show seems more suited to your nan than your average Gen Y/Gen X-er.
